I am incredibly excited about this series because I see so many women floating through life not feeling engaged, happy, or loving life. I want everyone to love the life they are living and live to the fullest!

The inspiring woman being featured this month is Dr. Beth Westie, here is her story:

Tell us how you are living a life you love?

I am living a life I am in LOVE with! In the past year I made a huge shift toward my passion and my purpose. I am married to a wonderful man and we have 3 beautiful children (9,7,5 years old). I will start with where we were a year ago. I had a very successful office, one that was admired and was a benchmark for others to achieve to. My husband had worked to be the #2 person in his company and was very respected by everyone. We had a beautiful house and land. But we were not living our true dream.

We had worked our whole lives to get to a point that most people dream about, but we were not living in our true purpose. So, as the saying goes, if you want to change your life – you have to change your life. So we did. I sold my office, my husband quit his job, we sold our house and we moved! It’s a big change and it hasn’t been easy. I honestly thought that days would be easy to wake up to my purpose and it would just flow. I have realized that it is not that simple. When you really begin to step into the life that you want and love and truly create, it takes even more love to nurture it. The more love I have put into my life, the more my new life loves me back. It’s like planting a seed and getting a field in return.

What hurdles came up on your way to getting there?

Hurdles – I call them learning experiences! The biggest is to realize who you let close to your heart. There were many who I thought were friends a year ago, many who I had spent time with and enjoyed their company as they enjoyed mine. Once I declared my new path in life many of those “friends” were the first to cut me down and turn on me. “She’s crazy! Why would she do that? What is wrong with her?” These were people I have realized could only be supportive of me as long as I fit into their little box of who I should be in the world. Now that I have stepped into my own definition I have found my true friends to be those who admired my guts and supported me for who I really am.

What has been the biggest help in living a life you love?

The biggest help is to continue my growth as a person. The more I educate myself, work on myself, the better mom, wife, leader, doctor, EVERYTHING I become!

What is the best lesson you have learned along your journey?

Live your life for you, and start today. Start NOW – because you always think you have time.

What would you say to someone who feels like living a life they love is impossible?

Start with gratitude, even if it’s the tiniest piece of gratitude. Plant that seed of gratefulness and it will grow. Being grateful leads to love.

How are you continuing to ensure you love your life every day?

I continue to read, study, listen to mentors daily. Every day I reset my soul to my passion and keep the love flowing.
