Want more personal FREEDOM?

This is Part 5 of the 6 part series all about self-love. You can find part 1 HERE, part 2 HERE, part 3 HERE, and part 4 HERE.

Personal freedom is something most people say they want. Most commonly I hear people say they want freedom of time, money, and location. When I hear most people talk about wanting freedom, they are usually talking about it as if it is an unattainable goal. Something that is maybe reached late in life, when they can’t make as much out of it anyway. It is a depressing perspective and I want to help you change it. I want to show you how you can feel a sense of personal freedom in your life.

We often define freedom with things that are outside of ourselves. We define it by having enough money or savings, a flexible or secure job, the ability to get up and move whenever you want.

These are all part of freedom. Specifically, they are all results of having personal freedom, but they are not how you obtain personal freedom. Personal freedom starts with your mindset. It starts with what you believe you are capable of and what you believe you deserve.

Do you believe you are worthy of personal freedom? Have you been telling yourself that what you want is selfish, unobtainable, too hard, or anything else along those lines?

If you have, you are not alone. Most people are holding themselves back because of fear, self-doubt, or societal pressures. But, you can work at this. You can change this mindset. And, with a changed mindset you will see yourself making choices and taking action that brings you to your dream life of personal freedom.

It all starts with self-love. Self-love develops your confidence, self-esteem, and boosts your mental and physical health. These are all things you need to create personal freedom in your life. Without a strong sense of self-love you will be stuck in a cycle of not being enough and settling for less than you deserve. And I know you don’t want that.

Self-love is a practice of treating yourself the way you would treat those you love and care for most.

Self-love is a practice of caring for your body, mind, and soul on a daily basis.

Self-love is the practice of being aware of your strengths, being proud of them, and actively building on them.

Self-love is the art of seeing yourself as a whole person, a person that has so much to offer the world and others.

Self-love is accepting the idea that you are perfectly imperfect, that you are enough, and that you deserve to not have to settle.

Self-love is a journey that you need to be making active steps in every day of your life. If you sit back and are complacent to your self-love then you will catch yourself going the wrong way on this journey, because that is the way society is set up. We are constantly bombarded with images and messages to make us feel less than. Therefore, you need to make a conscious effort everyday. I want you to really commit to this and do your best, because you are worth it.

Share with me in the comments below how you are going to create more self-love in your life so that you can create more personal freedom in your life.

I want you to join me in the Self-Love Quest which is a free 5 day event of epic self-love.

Much love, Danielle
